They closed my claim and I have been without income since they closed it

Went off work on 9/26/22 due to back issues. Applied for Short Term Disability. On Jan 2023 switched over to Long Term Disability and Unum had me to apply for Social Security Disability - which I did. My benefit specialist with Unum assured me multiple times that I would get no less than what I was getting monthly with Unum once I was approved for Social Security Disability and that was. With Unum and Social Security paying me which was $2128 plus paying for my Life Insurance until I no longer was disabled or I reach the age of 67. On the year mark of my being off work Unum closed my case and told me I could return to work. I explained that I could not even walk and there was no way I could return to work. They stated there was nothing in my medical record to hold me off work and the only thing I complained of was pain. They closed my claim and I have been without income since they closed it. I have no one that can help me with finances. Six days after they closed my claim Social Security approved me for disability. My specialists had stated once I told them my claim was closed with Unum and I was told I could return to work that I could not return to work because I was a liability. I walk with a cane due to loss of balance, I have cervical, thoracic, lumbar, hip ( bilateral), buttock, thigh (bilateral) and leg pain. I have numbness from thighs down to soles of my feet. I have blurred vision. I cannot sit without pain. I constantly shift Laotians to try and ease the pain or stand up for a few seconds to try and ease it. I cannot walk but a very few steps due to pain and have to find a seat and sit for 2-3 minutes to ease the severe pain. I cannot stand and do laundry, cook, wash dishes or any kind of housework. I need assistance with dressing and showering. I cannot bend, lift, lay flat on my back. I have procedures to help with some of the diagnosis’ and I also have other procedures waiting to be approved with my insurance. I feel hopeless. Unum has closed my case and stated I could return to work and have tried to convince me I have nothing wrong medically. They horridly closed my claim to keep from paying. I have several diagnosis that has been presented so far and there may also be more pending procedures. My specialist is working on my SI Joint Dysfunction- bilaterally first. I have just been approved for injections to see if that will ease some of the pain. They have told me that they cannot fix my ne k/ back issues it would continue to get worse but they can try and to ease some of the pain and help with that. They will move on to the next diagnosis and tend to that afterwards and so on. I have MRIs of the brain waiting to be scheduled to rule out MS or Stroke- pending insurance approval. I feel as if Unum cheated me. I have been an emotional mess due to the stress their decision has caused me. Can you please help me? I cannot file an appeal until all procedures are completed- the wait for insurance approval has been quite a wait time. I feel like my claim should not have been closed and me having to go through an appeals process. I sent an letter in for intent to appeal but I only have 180 days to get all medical records from procedures copied and turned in.
