Understanding Mass Mutual Disability Insurance Claims

Unlike many other long term disability insurance companies, Mass Mutual usually handles their long-term disability claims in a reasonable manner. Most of the Mass Mutual policies are actually lost of income policies, so if the insured returns to any form of work, then the monthly benefit can be reduced. Mass Mutual has sold “own-occupation” riders, but not every policy comes with this rider.
