I read other situations and it’s all very similar to my case. I have received STD from May 2023 and when my FMLA run out LF would not respond or answer my calls. My last approved leave was from 8-1-23 to 9-01-2023. I have emails to the claim manager from 8-13 when I told her that my Therapist couldn’t fill out the physicians statement because she isn’t my Dr. I waited for 4 weeks one month later she emailed me back and said she was waiting on my therapists to respond. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT, IN EMAIL SAYING THIS!
Of course this is when my case was denied. Shifted to a new claim handle and filed Appeal. That’s on going but they are asking all my Doctors and Nurses Practitioner all to stop there days and have a conference call with LF physician, reviewing the appeal!
Actually, did tell HR about this situation and she seen no reason why they would have requested something like that. Of course this was yesterday, so I have no updates at this moment, but I’m just done dealing with it.
