Every month I get paid on a different date

I will start by saying that my experience is not as horrible as others, like the folks who have valid claims but get nothing from Lincoln. I feel for you and hope to god you get satisfaction, but insurance companies will NEVER give you an even break. EVER. My disability was fast-tracked due to actuarially being a dead man walking.

My frustration lies in the fact that Lincoln makes people who are on a fixed income and who are already under a lot of stress wait every month to find out what day we will be paid. I’m told by Lincoln that they “release” the funds on the 19th of every month. That means nothing to me, since I don’t get paid on the 19th, nor do I get paid the same date every month. If the 19th falls on a weekend or holiday, the funds don’t release until the following business day, which could be several days later, and then it’s supposed to take three business days to clear. I get paid anywhere between the 21st and 25th of every month.

It may seem like a small complaint but I’m very sick. I don’t need the stress of not knowing if bills will get paid on time because I don’t know when payday is.
