Question

What if I never received longterm policy and I never agreed or signed agreement fee with disability insurance company?

I received long-term through Lincoln. They never gave me anything to sign as far as agreement fee to pay back if awarded ssdi, they never gave me there policy either. It took 3 months for them to approve and all I got was approval letter stating what I would get monthly and when awarded ssdi contact them send award letter and they will reduce long-term payments. So when I did that they are now saying I owe them all my backpay ssdi. I do not trust them and I don't want to give them anything. I never agreed to this and if I would have known this I would have rather lose my home sell my stuff and go live on my family land up north before I would ever allow this crooked company my money... so question is what happens if I don't pay them. And also I requested there policy and they refuse to give it to me.

Erica:

The repayment of government benefits such as ssdi or state disability benefits is allowed if your policy has language regarding deductible sources of income.
