Do I have legal recourse if Lincoln Financial mispoke to me about the status of my claim?

Hello, I have an open claim with Lincoln Financial. Today I caught wind that they have mispoke to me about the status of my claim. The adjuster refuses or return my calls. What recourse do I have – I need my disability.

Duane, there would be no actual legal recourse if they misspoke. A letter would be required to formalize an approval or denial. What is the alleged status of your claim? Please feel free to contact our office to discuss your claim in detail.
