Can the Hartford reduce my long term disability payment due to a rental income?
I now have the ability to rent out a portion of my home to supplement my retirment income. Will, or can the Hartford reduce my long term disability payments by the amount of this income? I also recieve disability payments from social security as well.

Usually non-work that is not described a deductible source of income the disability policy would not reduce the long-term disability benefit from Hartford. However, whether your rental income can be a deductible source of income is determined by the circumstances of your claim and the language of your specific group disability policy.
