Would I be entitled to a refund from Unum if I was denied and fired from my job?
I paid for years my long term disability and when I got hurt at work and placed a claim. I was denied and the reason was the it was a workmanship comp claim. Since I was denied and I was fired from my job am I entitled to a refund from unum?

Tommy, many policies do exclude coverage if the nature of the disability is due to a worker’s compensation claim. The premiums that were paid to Unum would provide coverage in any other situation, so unfortunately, I do not believe you would be entitled to any refund of premiums from Unum.
