Hartford

Hartford's doctor was a joke. I think they're trying to cancel my benefits.

I went today for an evaluation with a dr hired by the Hartford. He spent 6-8 minutes with me and asked a minimal amount of questions. He never asked about my routine or lack thereof, or about any pain I was experiencing. I brought in my medical equipment that I used including a tens unit and he refused to even lol at it. He at one point knocked my bag and phone on the floor and left it right there. I had trouble getting up from the exam table and he told me to go to sleep right there and spend the night, and he exited the room. His receptionist came in and helped me up, and handed me my cane. I don’t feel like he could make any judgement on wether or not I can perform as he didn’t spend sufficient time with me and didn’t ask questions as to how I was feeling. The questions were odd, and didn’t apply to my injury. I’m concerned that they are trying to cancel my benefits.

Atiya, any time a carrier sends you for an IME there is always the risk they are looking to build a case to deny your claim. Please feel free to contact our office to discuss how we may be able to assist you.
