Hartford rep felt so guilty over how the company treated me that she quit
I was diagnosed with Lyme disease and also Chronic fatigue by my Rheumatologist ~ they drug my case out until the last day before they had to make a decision and then said they could see no evidence of why I couldn’t go back to work the next day.
I asked their rep. how she could sleep at night knowing how disabled I was. The next day I found out that she no longer worked there. Evidently she felt guilty.
I was approved by Social Disability on my first try. When I talked with the next Hartford Representative he just said they used a different set of guidelines for their determination. Basically they said there is no test for Chronic fatigue so there was no proof that I had it regardless of what any doctor said. When I researched it I found out that this was standard procedure for disability claims for Chronic fatigue.
I had been working for years successfully selling life insurance so I know how the rewards are for those selling ins and their management personnel. I had won several trips to different cities ~ in the end I felt like our disability payments we were making to Hartford coming out of our paychecks were like money going into a big reservoir with the management of the Hartford cruising around in yachts and doing water sports, etc. and then when I was disabled coming to them and asking them for a deserved cup of water every month being turned away.
The only reason I am saying this now is because of all the Hartford commercials I keep seeing about how happy everyone is with the Hartford giving them peace of mind and security. They said that 96% of their customers would recommend the Hartford to their friends. Well, I am definitely in the 4% that would not recommend them for anything including a company they can trust.
The Lord is always faithful to be the final judge and in the end they will have to give an account.
