Short term vs long term
Had heart problems, I sign up for short-term disability needless to say I had a pacemaker put in plus a stint put in, so, I sign up for long term. The lady at Hartford told me that since I had a pacemark, they would okay my long term. Question is... with long term do I still have to have my doctors fill out my paperwork and send it in to them... also, have you guys heard if a pacemark makes a big diffance. Thank you.

Nightwatcher, you and your treatment providers will be required to submit additional records and information as frequently as the carrier deems reasonably necessary. Whether you have a pacemaker or not, the carrier determines whether your confirmed functional restrictions and limitations prevent you from performing your occupation.
