Can I sue the Hartford for something other than claim denial or outside of ERISA?

Can I sue the Hartford for something other than claim denial or outside of ERISA? For example, say they terminated my ltd, I don’t care about recovering or anything to do with my ltd policy. Can you sue them for harassment, hostile treatment, ada violation? I guess only thing that would matter is that court would know you were at one time a claimant and terminated. And this is how they made my life hell… just forget all about recovery just straight sue them for something else?

My ltd term was on since 2016! I don’t care about appeals, claim deism reversal, etc. I’m not interested in getting anything that would have me forced into remaining in a business relationship with them. But can I sue them for the trauma or straight up bullshit and whatever that has left me shattered? I guess I’m looking for a loophole I just want them to be held accountable for how they treated me and assume others. It’s criminal. It’s dehumanizing. It’s dirty.

If you have an employer provided policy then your only remedy is to seek denied benefits in a lawsuit, attorney fees and interest if you win. There must be a lawsuit for attorney fees and interest. If you have a denial you must appeal first. You should share your review of Hartford on our website.
