This company is killing people

I have been in the healthcare field for 30 years, as a physical therapist, when I unexpectedly had a sudden medical event (a neurological one), which actually triggered my manager to pull me out of the field on an emergency medical leave. But I could not get this claim pushed through. This was the most ridiculous experience I have ever been through. As someone who is in known, active recovery from the true neurological disease of alcoholism, I'm already considered disabled by the ADA. The point of this leave was two part, besides my own Medical Care, to get testing done to see if I would need accommodations.

I am a disabled employee of a healthcare company, and I was trying to get a short-term leave approved for a complication of my already recognized disability - and there was nothing I could do to get this through. It was impossible. I never even heard from my supposed claim "advocate". The barriers they put up, it's unreal. I have placed a complaint of two violations against them with ADA. To place a barrier of this extent to a disabled healthcare worker, who was trying to take a leave to get testing for needed accommodation, is unacceptable. I am very much hoping the justice department will take up this investigation.

I encourage anyone reading this who also falls under ADA protections, to immediately file a complaint on these people if they do this to you.
