They avoided sending the documents needed for the claim for two weeks. I had to escalate with a call from my company's HR and Sedgwick (the only way I was ever able to get someone from Sedgwick on the line - they do not return calls). After that it was worse. They finally provided a letter to my doctor as to what they need. The letter provided to my doctor had the wrong fax number listed. I requested the fax number via email and they finally provided it... and yes it was not the correct one. Then they claimed they had not received any response from my doctor. Again I had to get my company's HR department to be able to talk to anyone at Sedgwick. My company's HR department explained the copy of the fax and the incorrect fax number being provided two times. Then they suddenly remembered the correct fax number. Still no idea where my personal heath information was faxed too. Thanks Sedgwick. Their appeals department has yet to provide me any contact numbers. Other areas have no idea how to reach that department - I guess it exists in a secret bunker.
