Prudential continually harasses me and my family

Reviewed by GG on June 7th 2015   Verified Policyholder
I have been on LTD through Prudential for nine years due to a rare brain/spinal cord Disease. They continually harass me and my family with phone calls, paperwork, I have caught several videographers following me over the years. My records have always been open to them. I have complied with every request. I recently went to work doing voice overs for a local radio station. I can only do 2 hours and that is it. Then I am back into bed most days. They are now starting to harass my employer by asking for 3 full print outs of my pay-checks from Jan til now. My family and I are exhausted with this continued harrassment, even though my rare brain diagnosis has made it very clear I will NEVER be able to go back to work full time. My limit I can make per month is $900 dollars before they can deduct from my LTD paycheck and I am no where near that figure. I think $600 dollars in one month is the most I made, however, I suffered a rare brain attack from doing too much (according to my Neuro) it’s like a switch flips off. If there is ever a class action suit, please let me know.

GG, unfortunately you are not alone as it relates to ongoing claims review – especially when an insurance company knows there is some level of work functioning (no matter how small). If you’d like to discuss how we can assist you with monthly claims handling please feel free to contact our office.
