Question

Why do allsups get paid more than an SSDI attorney?

Asked on February 28th 2016 by Ann B.
Why is it we have paid for disability insurance from Prudential and your never told you would have to fight them more than social security. I thought this company was suppose to help you that’s what your paying for. Why do the attorneys allsup get more than a SS attorney you hired yourself would receive. I’ve read it’s twenty five percent. Allsup wants almost all of the back pay. What entitles them more than a outside SS lawyer receives? It seems their above the law.

Ann, allsup would not be paid more than an SSDI attorney of your choosing. The SSA statutorily caps fees that can be paid out on a SSDI claim
