Do you work with NC State Teachers Long term disability claims?
I’m approved for short term at the maximum time period. My doctor has told me that my condition is permanent but he “doesn’t do long term insurance claims”. I’m completely baffled and dismayed. He tells me that I can’t go back to work but won’t help me with my claim to pay bills or himself. What should I do?

You need to immediately find another doctor that will complete the required insurance company paperwork for you. It’s terrible that your doctor won’t cooperate but not highly unusual.
