Question

Am I able to collect disability or SSI?

Asked on August 5th 2024 by STEVE PULKKINEN
I had cancer in 2021, chemo gave me diabetes which gave me severe neuropathy which causes my hands, feet and legs to be numb and very painful when I walk. Also when I type. It is getting to the point that I really can't work without out a lot of discomfort. I am 57 years old. I also had neck surgery a couple months ago and have yet to be fully functional and have severe arm pain due to nerves from the surgery.

Steve: Do you have disability coverage through an individual or employer provided group plan? Even if you do not, you can always apply for SSDI. I suggest you contact our office and speak with one of the attorneys to discuss in more detail your circumstances and your options.
